The Civil War has ended, yet greater horrors lurk beneath the South as Reconstruction begins. The Bloodgood manor sits atop a hill looming over inhospitable swampland, like a ghoul atop a burial mound, and teems with secrets, pacts, and loathsome degeneracy.
