A Bloom of Radiant Death

Predictably the creators lost control of the first of these creations. It multiplied, covering the world with millions of flowers that grew to the size of cities. Using a telepathic ability, they manipulated the people to serve them. The creatures consumed people with razor-sharp thorns vines laced with acid to breakdown muscle, bone, and objects into a slime. Once these monsters ate all the animals, insects, birds, plants, and people, they began eating away at the planet itself, digging down to the core until it exploded. Debris scattered across the universe carrying these monsters' seeds to Earth. Riley Mosely discovered that these monstrous plants have been on Earth eating humans for years. Now she is on a personal mission to destroy these flowers. Earth's final hope of avoiding the fate of many other worlds' is a little girl in Littleton, IN, that has been manipulated by one of the alien flowers to bring it humans to eat.
