Some of the morals that were reinforced had to do with personal duty, truthfulness, honesty, as well as sexual proprietary. Nonetheless , in this novel, the author, sought to challenge the ‘norm’ by providing a critique of this strictness.In this outstanding novel superstition, imprisonment, temptation, and debauchery are addressed. Moreover, the conflict between modernity and the ancient world is one of the messages you catch while reading the book.The novel has been adapted for film over 30 times, and numerous appearances have been made from its protagonists.About the author: Bram Stoker (1847-1912) was an irish author best known today for his gothic horror Novel “Dracula”. He attended Trinity College in Dublin and earned a degree in mathematics. Later, Stoker involved in the theater when he became acting manager and then business manager of Irving's Lyceum Theatre, London.
