Tom and his pals sneak in a mill at night, take apart the grind stone, and roll it in the river. they do get caught and it’s Tom’s job to get the stone back. You would think it would be as easy to go to the river, get the stone out, put the stone back, and apologize to the miller. For Tom it’s not.
