Stranded and desperate, Al gets the sudden inspiration that he should trying his hand at cabdriving. He applies at a worker-owned-and-operated cooperative cab company and faces the greatest horror of all, a job interview.But how is Al to deal with co-workers whom he views as inferiors? And although Al has renounced violence, violence seems to follow him wherever he goes. Still, the new job adds spice to the vampire's long existence as he copes with eccentric co-workers, cranky passengers and psychotic murderers.
