Dealing with Hallam and the Surgeon's Board has cost Johnathan Pickett his job as an accountant for Legion. Omari Spitz has lost just as much through trying to help him. Now, with the battles fought and the troubles stopped, the two of them want nothing more than to live normal lives. Kimberly's laundromat needed an owner. John has stepped up to handle it, and the business is doing well. Things are even looking up for Omari with his new wife, and a child on the way. That is, if they can ignore all the problems going on around them. People are being summoned from distant countries. Animals are going berserk. Ancient, Powerful spirits are being freed from their prisons. All these omens and calamities point to one question: Have they really stopped the Eidolon Project?
