The full moon is important in virtually every mythos of every human culture. It can have many meanings, some good, some bad. In some of those stories the full moon enhances occult powers and rituals. A full moon on Halloween is rare. When one occurs, the moon’s power is said by some people to be greater than normal. It is sometimes called the “Devil’s moon”. A group of friends decides to have a series of séances with the last one during a full moon on Halloween. After all, ancient superstitions can’t have an impact on the real world. Even if they did, the séances are intended to summon up spirts of the harmless departed. If the improbable happens and some myths prove true, there is no danger, no risk. Is there?
