Maria Ridge was born with the gift that allowed her to see and speak with the spirit world. As she aged this gift became more of a curse than a blessing. At the age of 18 she ran away from the torturous treatment from not only the town she lived, but also her family. Maria embarks on a journey that leads her to others like herself, secrets to her past, and the reality of her gifts. About the Author

I'm a 48 year old mother and grandmother. They say you will never know the love of a child until you have one.... well having a grand-daughter has put more hope, joy, and love in my life than I ever thought possible. I have an Associate of Art's in Psychology and a Bachelor of Art's in Cultural Anthropology. I began writing at the young age of 16, however those early manuscripts set in a drawer and locked away in my mind until after I had turned 40 years old. It was then that I decided it was time to share these stories and tales with others. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
