Miasma (Redivivus Trilogy)

Man’s lust for power proved to be the knife that slit its own throat, and the Lyssa Niuhi virus—LNV—was the blade’s finely honed edge. Engineered to be the ultimate bioweapon, the virus proved uncontrollable as it drove humankind to the brink of extinction with startling speed. Men were transformed into monsters as LNV spawned an army of revenants hell-bent on consuming all traces of humanity. Unwilling to surrender to the plague of death, John Wild and a band of survivors struggle to stop LNV’s reign of terror. When their path crosses that of a man seeking to manipulate the virus’ power to his advantage, they are reminded that there are still things more dangerous than the infected hordes roaming the earth. The laws of the land have been forever altered, and the only certainty is that LNV has no intention of leaving without a fight. When John is finally reunited with his daughter, his will to survive becomes more steadfast than ever. Neither man nor microbe will separate them ever again. But one thing becomes painfully clear: if John truly wants to keep her safe, he must face the storm with unyielding resolve. Everything comes with a price. Sacrifices must be made. Blood must be shed. The miasma will not go quietly.
