Joey has a book-loving monster, Sir Nod, living in his closet. When Joey cannot sleep, he asks Sir Nod for a magical book, but the monster refuses to give it to him. Can Joey and Sir Nod find a way to share books in this fun bedtime story?

About the Author

Nancy Kelly Allen's route to award-winning writing has more twists and turns than a winding mountain road. She worked as a social worker and elementary school teacher. When Nancy changed career paths once again and became a school librarian, the route led her straight to the world of writing, where she has penned over forty children's books . She has a master's degree in Education from Morehead State University and a master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. Nancy and her husband, Larry, live in the log cabin in which she grew up, and they share their home with two canine writer assistants, Jazi and Roxi.Diane Brown is an artist/illustrator who loves children and their books. She has dreamed of creating pictures for children's books. This book is evidence that dream has come true. Mrs. Brown is the mother of three boys of whom she is immensely proud. Mrs. Brown and her husband live in Texas with their lovely dog, Sport.
