The Dark Season - Gargoyles

The gothic cities of St. Viktersburg and New Holland are caught off guard by a new and evil menace. Similar to vampires, this threat comes in the form of Countess Eva Sandagaul-one of the world's most beautiful women. Her cursed existence unravels and soon reveals her family secret. As a result, a chain reaction of events spiral out of control causing Thomas Dikane and Xavier Nokovic, two of the most powerful men on earth, to go head to head for the first time. Eva reluctantly takes command of her species during their unyielding quest for human flesh and blood. With a crises that span's two cities, Thomas is forced to exchange his life for the immortality of one child wedged in the middle of Eva's revenge during the dreaded dark season.

About the Author

Robert Desilva grew up in New York City and started writing for fun when he was twelve years old. That included class awards for plays he wrote in junior high. As an adult, he was advised to try writing as a career. "Young Vampires-Chronicles of the Hunters", was his first novel in series of four that included a common theme. He also wrote, "A Gothic City" as his follow up novel. For him, there is more fun in writing sci-fi and gothic style thrillers because he can contrast romance and violence between the characters-making certain one element does not over play the other.
