About the Author

James Conroyd Martin is the author of The Polish Trilogy, award-winning books inspired by the diary of a young countess who lived through an important epoch in Poland's history. Martin has been a longtime teacher of English and Creative Writing but is now devoting himself to his writing. He holds degrees from St. Ambrose and DePaul universities.
