The Strangers Bureau Box Set

This box set puts together Book 1 and 2 of the series - INTERLOPERS and PICTURES OF LILY in a single accessible volume.Customarily, when ‘box sets’ start to emerge it is a signal that an author had moved on. But…I have, and I have not moved on from The Strangers Bureau. Granted, I have been distracted by other projects (if you are familiar with any or all of my other series and stories you will see that I am easily distractable); but always, I keep thinking about returning to the mysterious Sûreté sleuth Eleanor Gerard and the ghosts that began to inhabit her world in 2014…So, presently the next episode in her journey – and that of many of the characters introduced in Interlopers and Pictures of Lily – has yet to progress beyond a few notes, trial starts and concepts. Perhaps, this return to the universe of The Strangers Bureau will spark a long-delayed third instalment in the series, who knows?Oh, if there were only more hours in the day!For the moment, here is this box set, the idea for which was not initially – I confess – mine. My elbow was serendipitously ‘nudged’ by my audio book partner, Madeline Clare, who suggested that a ‘box set’ of the two books would produce a product which would be really good value for your Audible monthly credit, and that combining the two books in a single KDP e-book would also put ‘the story so far’ in a single convenient place for Kindle and other tablet users.So, here we are!
