A collection of short stories and poetry from the darker recesses of imagination. This collection contains stories from a variety of genres including: Fantasy, Horror, and science fiction. Some stories feature graphic depictions of violence and subject matter some readers could find disturbing. Ride Out: A retired war veteran is plagued by spectral visitors who force him to relive key moments from his dark past, whilst uttering a foreboding warning of what is to come. A Terran's Justice: Set in the future, once mankind has crawled from the cold embrace of our oceans and joined the thriving galactic super-community. An exiled witch gathers a group of grizzled heroes and rogues to aid her in the defense of a small village, and the potentially universe-ending secret buried beneath it. Mother is calling: A school teacher incurs the wrath of an enigmatic horror, which sends her strange minions to silence his mind. Escape from Eden: The city stands alone in the world and the church rules it with an iron grip. Despite this, a journalist is put on a story that could expose their tyranny, and with the aid of a fugitive witch, must try and unearth the truth about their cursed existence. Requiem: A traveler from Spain comes to London seeking passage to the land of the dead, and the horde of treasures said to reside there. With the aid of an ex-British navy-man, a swashbuckling rogue, a Samurai warrior, and a crew of murders, he must traverse the dangerous seas and Death's cursed realm in search for a treasure the world has forgotten. The Perfect Villain: The police begin to play a game of cat and mouse with a psychotic serial killer, all whilst falling into his delusional trap.
