Luckily for Dominic a demon appears and offers him a Contract. If he agrees to it's terms the demon will keep him out of jail and give him the chance to kill again. The terms: serve the demon's lover. He has two years to prepare to meet his Master. After being ambushed by his brothers and nearly killed the demon prince, Mi'Kale, buried his body deep within the ground of his homeland and sent his soul to the human realm to seek out a body to possess. In his weakened state he unintentionally binds himself to a young human boy and spends nearly a decade bound to him. At first he desired a way to grow stronger and possess the human's body, but after spending so many years together he found himself falling in love with Arlo. Once he was strong enough to break free he sets out to pave the way for his human lover to summon him to the human realm so that they may be together in the flesh.
