A short Krewe holiday storyJack O’ the Lantern Sienna Murray and Ryder Stapleton have moved to Virginia for Ryder to attend the FBI academy at Quantico so the one-time NOLA cop can become an agent with the Krewe of Hunters. But New Orleans is home to them both, and for Halloween, they’re taking a few days of vacation time to head down and see old friends and one of Sienna’s relatives—Granny K. Of course, they’ll be seeing Granny K. in “spirit,” but she’s as capable of being a “larger than life” personality in death as she was when among the living.
