In an abandoned stretch of Appalachia, a car skids along a dark, icy road, leaving three young travelers injured and lost. Noelle Castonguay, a logic-minded history enthusiast, decides that the trio would be better off trying to find shelter for the night instead of staying put and waiting for help. However, the shelter that they stumble upon has more mysteries in its history than meets the eye. When Noelle meets Laszlo, the last living inhabitant of the estate, she discovers that he is one of history’s greatest jewels. Still, Noelle is not the only one who knows Laszlo’s secret. She soon finds that there are others out there who know who Laszlo is. As they seek to torment and destroy him, Noelle must decide between saving Laszlo or saving herself.
