Pieces: The Green Series

Detective Green and Detective Keys have found a body which was pulled apart by steel cables attached to a winch. The scene is like a Hollywood movie set. Crucifixes surround the room and the pentacle with a circle contains what is left of the body. After engaging the services of a college professor involved in the occult, the case goes from bad to worse. Neither detective is sure what's going on or why it is happening as they spread the net to include the Church of Satan and those involved in both God and Satan.As the body count goes up, they start looking for links through the victims and start fighting with the FBI over who is taking the lead in the case, as the first victim turns out to be one of their own agents.To narrow down the list of suspects, they try to separate what is fact from fiction. Nothing seems real, and it doesn't get them any closer to the killer. It is only guesswork and speculation that they have while trying to find out who could do it and why. Questions are everywhere, but dead men give no answers!
