About the Author

Micky Neilson is a two-time New York Times best-selling author whose graphic novels, Ashbringer (#2 on the list) and Pearl of Pandaria (#3) have both been published in six languages. As one of the first writers at Blizzard Entertainment, he has more than two decades of experience in the cutting edge of the gaming industry. In 2016 Riverdale Avenue Press published his memoir Lost and Found: An Autobiography About Discovering Family, available wherever books are sold. He has also self-published his first full-length horror novel, The Turning, and its prequel, Whisper Lake, both on Amazon. Most recently, Micky was tapped to write the comic book series The Howling: Revenge of the Werewolf Queen, a continuation of the beloved 1981 Joe Dante horror film The Howling.Jason Johnson was born in Denver, CO in 1976. He and his family then moved to several cities and states while growing up and expanding his art skills. Right out of high school he became an intern for Wildstorm Productions., and would soon after work on titles such as Team 7, Gen 13, and Wetworks. He regularly draws Penthouses Rejected Forum. Recent comic book credits include Night Rider and The Howling graphic novel from Space Goat Productions. Dave Land has worked as a comics editor since 1996 including fifteen years as a Senior Editor with Dark Horse Comics, working on titles including Star Wars, Tony Millionaire’s Sock Monkey, Sergio Aragonés' Groo, and Conan. Dave's books have won three Eisners and one Harvey and he has worked with two successive Russ Manning award winners, Jerome Opeña (2003) and Eric Wight (2004). He's worked with licensors including Lucasfilm, Fox, Blizzard, Pixar, and Disney as well as some of the world’s best comics creators including the legendary Jerry Robinson, Al Williamson, and Carlos Meglia. Dave is also proud to have written the series Werewolves on the Moon: Versus Vampires with the Fillbach Brothers and the series Star Wars: Infinities — The Empire Strikes Back. Dave spends his time trying not to take life too seriously with his wife, daughter, and two cats in Portland, Oregon.
