Something for Christmas

Something for Christmas

Jim Cahan thought he had struck gold in the brilliant objects he found scattered around a very mysterious grove out on the prairie at the far end of his ranch, but within a short time he would see his world shattered by a violent force almost impossible for him to comprehend. Was an old Indian legend brought back to life as some thought, was it something created by those wanderers he knew roamed the vast open land or did the new government base just off his ranch hold the answer? And, what about those violent deaths that now had the attention of the police in communities across the country as well various government agencies, could they be somehow connected to his beautiful objects, objects that he was selling to be distributed as Christmas ornaments? Could Jim discover the secret the grove held in time to save those around him—could anyone? “Something for Christmas” has all the elements of suspense, mystery and fast paced action expected in today’s classic horror novels as well as a unique storyline that will grab the reader’s interest and hold it to the end. While the characters are factious and not based upon any living persons, if you have ever lived in a small town or worked in a government research facility or security agency you will probably recognize them immediately.
