Jack Hardwick is a best-selling horror novelist. In 1979, after graduating from high school, he and six friends skip their graduation trip to Disneyland to hike up to the nearby deserted town, Modoc. Legends have it that the residents of Modoc simply got up one day and left town. They left drinks on tables, uneaten food on plates and lessons on the school chalkboards. Shopkeepers walked away from merchandise leaving it on shelves and vanished. Jack is a budding horror novelist and sees a story in Modoc, maybe a good one. HIs friends just want to get away from the small town where they live for a day or two without being watched. The first night, Jack tells them the story of a brutal crime committed by the head of a local militia called the "Reclamation Committee." As the night goes one, they hear noises, screams echoing through the town and across the valley. Modoc is a ghost town, but ghosts don't really exist. Do they? Jack and his friends are about to find out the term ghost town can have a very real meaning, putting their very lives in danger.Ghost Town tells the story of how a haunted town and a curse can turn lives into nightmares.
