You would think a shift shaman could catch a break and that a house full of demons could find a moments peace. Nope, not this group of messed up friends. Convel finds himself staring at more issues than he knows how to handle. Six months ago, Convel walked away from Natasha after making a love confession, he went on to be responsible and became a guardian for his clan. There should be smooth sailing in his life now, in all their lives, right? Wrong. . . The Shift Shaman’s have been outed and are trying to merge into society, Convel is now the known as the Prince of Broken Hearts, Natasha’s been thrown into a holding cell at Militar, Lyth is searching for the source of Convel’s recent issues, and, at the peak of all this chaos, a low grade witch coven is causing life threatening issues for Convel and everyone he cares about. To make matters worse, Convel’s personal escort to this train wreck that he now calls his life is The Blue Eyed Nightingale herself, Ashley. If being madder than the Mad Hatter himself wasn’t a big enough issue, it seems that a prophecy is unfolding and Convel and the others are smack-dab-in-the-middle of the whole thing.
