Winterborn 2: Wolfsbane

Thirteen years ago, a young woman reincarnated into a world of swords and sorcery, where gods were real, and magic and monsters ever present. Reborn as Melinda Eriksdaughter, she grew up among the barbarian tribes of the frozen north, before circumstances forced her to seek adventures elsewhere. With her winter wolf companion, Frostmane, she crossed the Worldspine Mountains, and made her way to Northport. Together, they look for new allies and new adventures, hoping to make their mark upon the world, and grow in power to the point where they can never be taken advantage of again. But such quests are never easy, and there are always those who would seek to tear others down to raise themselves up. In a nearby wood, dark forces have taken root. Ancient rituals of terrible power have been unleashed. And the people of the town of Moonwater lock their doors at night and fearfully guard their walls, wondering if each night might be their last. And all the while, the Blood Moon hangs in the sky overhead, and wolves howl through the night.
