Demian didn’t wish to be with anyone. If immortality taught him anything, it was that everyone died, so he was perfectly content in his solitude as a creature of the night, not getting to know anyone and drinking from random humans. One night he tries to drink from one of these humans, only to realize the man is a vampire. He is soon held at this vampire’s mercy, but instead of trying to get away he finds himself mesmerized by this man and allows him to have his way with him. Sadly Demian didn’t count on the vampire leaving shortly after without even telling him his name. This shouldn’t bother him, but he is unable to get his Mystery Vampire out of his head for a whole month. Finally at the end of his rope is his desperation to find this Mystery Vampire, he goes to a party for blood drinkers, held by an old friend of his, in hopes of finding his mystery vampire. But his old friend holds a dark secret; he is involved in a trafficking ring, where creatures of the underworld are the product for mostly rich greedy humans. Demian finds himself sold as a drinking fountain for one of the customers. All hope seems lost for him until his Mystery Vampire rescues him. The two stay together once they escape their pursuers and Demian learns many secrets about his Mystery Vampire, all the while learning that maybe loving again isn’t so bad. But is he willing to do so after his heartbreak with his past lover? Raphael, his Mystery Vampire, is determined to convince him that he should.
