Peter's Window

There is a secret lingering within the small town of London, regarding Peter Pan, and everyone seems to be aware of it—except for him. Wendy Darling doesn’t want to go to school and become as proper as her parents expect her to be. When she unexpectedly crosses paths with Peter Pan one morning outside of his orphanage, she soon finds herself running away with him, escaping into his imaginations of a mystical land called Neverland, hiding away from the haunting reality that they both fear—having to grow up. As the years pass by, Wendy, now becoming a young adult, drifts farther and farther away from their childhood ways. Peter feels hopeless as he watches his ever-changing reflection, while listening to the time ticking away on his dreadful clock. Unwilling to face the truth of his reality and accept Neverland only existed in the imagination of a lonely child, he desperately tries to return to it, but soon learns of his inescapable secret, causing him to fall into a predicament he can’t fly away from. Or can he? PETER’S WINDOW shares a darker and more complex narrative of the character Peter Pan, inspired by J.M. Barrie's original work.
