Sweet Poison

Bram Stoker Award winner Marge Simon and Nebula Award winner Mary A. Turzillo team up to create a stunning collection of phantastic verse, dark and light. Simon and Turzillo use call and response, a succession of phrases usually played by different musicians, where the second phrase responds to the first, with their dual poems, such as "Lady M" and "Not About Shakespeare." Some poems are science-fictional, such as "The Castaway Bar" and "Foreigner," some are dark, like "This Undead Hand" and "Black Roses," and some unclassifiable. Yet each one is a variant of sweet poison.
