As the double eclipse approaches, the last members of an evil cult seek to resurrect their dead god. If they succeed, darkness will fall over the lands north of the Ruined Swamp. The only person that can stop them is a young woman named Merrill, the top thief in the Drowned Valley. She may also have been the one to steal the final piece the cult needed to complete the ritual, making the impending end of the world kind of her fault. Normally she would never double-cross a client, but the cult decided that her partner Annette would be the ideal choice for the ritual’s necessary human sacrifice. Now, with her friend’s life on the line, it’s up to Merrill to rescue her friend and stop the “good guys” from destroying the whole valley to prevent the return of the dead god.
