Ep-70: Tim Kasher.
Released on 09/02/2017
Tim Kasher is probably best known as the singer of indie-punk mainstays, Cursive & The Good Life - things that the FM3 hardly talk about in our lengthy conversation with this modern rock legend! Also barely mentioned: Tim's directorial film debut, 'No Resolution', screening in most major US cities this September with a Q&A and musical performance by TK (09/11th at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco, for local listeners). What we DO talk about is Tim Kasher's love of horror films old & new, being a movie lover living in Hollywood, being a fan-fiction screenwriter, and of course, a little food talk.
Ep-69: Jennifer Rubin
Released on 08/22/2017
The FM3 sit down in sunny Los Angeles for a long talk with Jennifer Rubin, AKA Taryn White from "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors". Although, the real nightmare is when Josh confesses to the coolest, most beautiful Dream Warrior that he once pooped his pants in jail! Jennifer is awesome, and speaks freely about jumping from teenage modeling to acting, where she worked through the eighties with the likes of David Lynch & Oliver Stone, as well her current writing process and weirdnesses. This episode gets a little (a lot) esoteric and kookie, so hang on!
Ep-68: Butcher Bro-Down (The Night Watchmen).
Released on 08/16/2017
The dudes sit down in the old Baphomet Bungalow to talk with Mitchell Altieri, director of the new horror comedy, "The Night Watchmen" and half of the mysterious Butcher Brothers ("The Hamiltons", "The Violent Kind"). Also discussed: the psychology behind remaking a horror classic, and the genius of Neill Blomkamp.
Ep-67: The Santa Rosa Scrotum Slayer.
Released on 08/02/2017
The episode you all have been waiting for... The concluding chapter to Brian Henderson's "no nuts, no glory saga". And if talking about real life horror stories aren't enough, we do eventually find the strength to give you a review of The Stomach (short film from 2013) and 2017's 'It Comes At Night'. Â
Ep-66: Scared To Death.
Released on 07/25/2017
In this episode (as in most every episode), Jef and Brian are dragged through the hallways of Josh's childhood memories, all the way back to Halloween of 1981 when Josh donned the costume of 'Canadian Hillbilly Monster'. Little did he (or anyone around him) know, the head on this costume was an original Distortions Unlimited SYNGENOR mask designed by Bill Malone, from his low-budget 1980 film, 'Scared To Death'. Join the FM3 as they pervert these tender memories and finally watch The Syngenor in all of its celluloid glory.
Ep-65: Tom Atkins & Drew Marvick.
Released on 07/05/2017
Live from the Sinister Creature Con in Stockton CA, 2017. The FM3 got a chance to sit down and chat with Tom Atkins (The Fog, Halloween 3) and Drew Marvick (Pool Party Massacre) - the best mustache and beard in the biz, respectively.Â
Ep-64: Gutterballs / Pool Party Massacre.
Released on 06/28/2017
The FM3 head back up to the Great White North and realize not all Canadians are sweethearts when they review "Gutterballs" (2008). Then the guys head down to sunny Las Vegas, slap on their swim trunks and dive into a review of "Pool Party Massacre" (2017).
Ep-63: Creepers & Peepers (Happy Birthday To Me).
Released on 06/07/2017
The FM3 head up to The Great White North to check out the wacky Video Nasty "Happy Birthday To Me". Come grab a seat at the birthday girls table as the boys share the many Fon-du's and Fon-don'ts of this 80's cult classic without getting too much frosting on their party hats.Â
Ep-62: Cosmic Floppiness (The Void).
Released on 05/23/2017
In this episode, the FM3 check out a new indie horror film and find themselves elbow deep in all kinds of lumps, bumps and spaced-out, slippery-cult-shit. Join the guys as they try to keep their skin on for their review of "The Void" (2017).
Ep-61: A Serbian Film
Released on 05/20/2017
In this episode, The FM3 have their fate chosen by a Member of the Forever Midnight Society and are permanently changed because of it. After long hours of washing their eyes out with bleach, the boys gather 'round and review the infamous video nasty "A Serbian Film".
