Tis the season to chat about trashy holiday horror! In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian dig deep into Santa's sack and hit the tippy bottom and come up with 1980's "To All A Goodnight".  With arguably one of the worst VHS covers for a vintage Christmas slasher, this one doubles down by also being directed by the super creep from Last House on the Left, David Hess. However what it lacks in art, story and star power they fill in with blood, boobs, Santa and the one and only Harry Reems. So win win win!? The FM3 decided to kick off December by heading to Antarctica to check out some space skin that some Norwegians found buried deep in the freezing snow. Little do they know they will be overtaken by an alien lifeform just like in the 1982 John Carpenter classic "The Thing". Thankfully for you listeners, the only real change you will notice is Jef, Josh and Brian may choose some "good" movies more often and oh yeah they are all connected together and are a huge mess of flesh now. But other than those two things, everything you love about the podcast will remain the same, that is until the guys get their silly little flying saucer built out of old hot dog cans and lawn mower engines. In this episode, the FM3 decided to field some more listener voicemails since it's been a crazy week. The crew kinda loses their shit in this episode and they hope you are along for the ride. It's that time of year when most folks are diving into a pile of mash potatoes but Jef, Josh and Brian figured they were ready to dive into Eli Roth's 2023 film "Thanksgiving"! Yup, finally a proper Thanksgiving themed horror film with all the fixings plus room for dessert or as they say in Hollywood a "sequel". This episode starts out strong with some killer smells and then finally onto the main course. Jump to the 19:00 minute mark if you wanna skip right to the meat and cranberry sauce of the episode. It's Gnarvember folks! The time of year that Jef, Josh and Brian celebrate horror movies that feature Heavy Metal and or hard rock bands! This time around the FM3 check out 1987's "Slaughterhouse Rock" starring the one and only Toni Basil! This flick interested our brave heroes because it takes place in SF and on Alcatraz. So of course the guys wanted to dip in and see what hard rock delights awaited them. In this episode, the FM3 decided to check in on the listener voicemails that have been piling up. Once again, Jef, Josh and Brian had a great time listening to some messages and rambling about this and that. They had high hopes that they would tackle a bunch of messages but time flies because it is fake and before they knew it, the episode had to end. In this episode it was Josh's turn to pick a movie for the guys to watch and chat about. He got so excited that he completely forgot about the ban on Charles Band movies that the FM3 made a blood oath on just mere episodes ago. But instead of choosing something else Brian, Jef and Josh dive dick first into the deep dark dumpster that holds The Charles Band Archives and resurfaced with "The Dungeonmaster" from 1984. Listeners you too can play at home in the Chuck Band Dumpster and watch Richard Moll and the Fondacaro brothers get horribly underused and at the same time see some of John Carl Buechler's Troll and Ghoulies puppet rejects, and really what more could you ask from a "horror" movie?
