Not Your Average Horror Show

After 2 weeks of silence, the show is back with a “BUZZ” in a double-length episode.  We talk TCM with a special guest who named this his favorite horror movie.   Should all the characters of TCM have been massacred?  Or should Sally have been allowed to slip through Leatherface’s grip as the “chicken nuggets” that got away. Hear the debate, followed by some parallels to real-life sickos such as Gein, Dahmer and Buffalo Bill.

The first Halloween series appearance on this podcast! Some gripes, likes/dislikes ranging from the “taller” Michael Myers to too much green leaves.  Some recollection about how the host was able to see this movie. Also…a “real life” Michael Myers sighting.

A little late on this holiday-themed release, but nonetheless the review is in. Not a favorite among the duo, but a concise summary on this-low budget British film with some commentary as to what actually is a British movie and are they all terrible? Ben and Adrienne also reflect on their New Year’s Eve activities which are now weeks in the past.

Jaws is back and sustains an interesting facial burn, prompting your host to label him the “Freddy” shark. Join in for a lively discussion of Sheriff Brody’s paranoid antics in-between shark bites, followed by some Stranger Things Season 5 chat.

In this week’s show, things seem to go off the rails at times in just the 2nd episode as Ben and Adrienne grapple with understanding the message behind the movie and ultimately give up on trying to figure it out.
