Shadow People and The Hat Man: An Introduction | 026

Bedtime. An integral part to the end of our day and a time to forget about our worries. A time to drift off to a place of peace, comfort, and relaxation. For some, however, this restful time is interrupted by a horrifying visitation from an entity cloaked in shadow. Never knowing how or when it will make itself known, these eyewitnesses lie in wait. Too afraid to open their eyes and too hesitant to close them.

Having been told their whole lives that the boogeyman doesn’t exist; they suffer in silence, unable to share their encounters with family or friends. Fearful of what others might think or say. The awful truth is that this thing looming before them is as real as you and me. Standing in silence, it emits an overwhelming feeling of dread and despair. Wearing what appears to be a long black cloak and wide brimmed hat; these eyewitnesses have come to call this new terror, The Hat Man.
