Taking a cue from both Kier-La Janisse's "House of Psychotic Women" and Stephen Thrower's "Nightmare USA," Aria and Lori discuss the ways in which depictions of "female PsYcHoSiS" are represented in films that exist beyond the pearly gates of studio filmmaking, with explorations of "Pigs" (1973), "Let's Scare Jessica to Death" (1971), and "The Witch Who Came From the Sea" (1976).
