I noticed a bunch of people wearing what looked to be red robes standing around a big fire. They were chanting something, but it was too far away to hear exactly what they were saying or what language it was in. I peered with the binoculars and noticed they were moving back and forth, swaying side by side into each other and holding hands. The chanting grew louder and louder until someone rode up on a motorcycle. As he stepped off his bike and held out his arms, two of the chanters covered him in a black robe.

Throughout the centuries, it remained almost empty with people leaving because of an unknown wicked presence until the population boom of the 60s. As more people came to commute to jobs in the bigger metro areas from Sandcastle, the evil was covered by the growing crowds. Now, the demonic presence covers itself by recruiting criminals and faking mental illnesses and blending in with society.

From the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean to the haunted redwood forests, the evil doesn't stop there. With the birth of the internet and the world wide web, the stories cast themselves around the States and all over the Earth. Sandcastle is a town of horror that will be known throughout the world one day as its birth of hell on Earth is centuries old, but really has only just begun. Who will win in the end? Those unknowingly chose to protect the Earth from this malevolence, or the deep need for human sin cast by the horrors within?

Every weekend I will bring you a story originating from this little town of terror. The stories may blend in with other stories or be unique, but you will eventually become familiar with the many faces of Sandcastle, their families, friends, and their stories of horror.

Although you can start anywhere in the podcast, it is best to start from the beginning as many of the stories introduce characters told in other tales from Sandcastle, and some stories may have several parts.
