Brett and Harley from the Travel Oddities Podcast join Flora to talk about Hillside Cemetery in this episode! The hosts of the award-winning Travel Oddities Podcast dish about their experiences at Hillside Cemetery and other adventures in Oklahoma. The supposed grave of a witch in Skiatook, OK, is said to have some bad mojo around it. Harley and Brett went there and share their story. A real man of the cloth. Flora takes a deep dive into the divisive world of the Shroud of Turin on this episode of Blurry Photos. A venerated holy object of Christianity, the Shroud of Turin is the supposed burial cloth of Jesus, and the debate on its authenticity has raged for years. Does that man look a little Husky to you? Fur real. After an interrupted Photober, Flora is back at it with the first part of a double feature on Dogman Tales! With stories of upright canids that act eerily intelligent, dogman tales have poured into the world of cryptozoology since the early 90's. While more and more reports are shared than ever before, stories of these strange, dog-headed bipeds date back much further than you might expect. David breaks down dogmen with a basic description and short history of this type of creature. Dogs feature heavily in the folkore of many cultures and the connection between them and crossroads lore is also discussed.
