Shadows of Truth is a collection of short stories on a variety of things connected to the supernatural and paranormal.Ranging from ghost stories to stories about angels and near death experiences, to tales of visitors from other worlds, UFOs, parallel dimensions, space exploration and time capsules on the planet Mars. As well as others. It is written in a very simple and straightforward style. Anybody with a sense of wonder would enjoy these stories.Foreword by Ruskin BondPrashant Solomon’s first collection of short stories reveals a lively imagination and a competent grasp of the storyteller’s craft. His themes are diverse. They range from beautiful ghosts to UFOs, to time capsules which take the readers back and forth in time, linking Martian pyramids to the Egyptian pyramids, and giving us a new version of the Adam and Eve story. Devil worship and Godly intervention also play a part in these tales. My favourite story is about the grandmother who becomes a star. The writing is simple and straightforward, and children and teenagers should enjoy these entertaining forays into worlds stranger than ours. It will be interesting to watch this writer’s progress over the next few years.RUSKIN BONDMUSSOORIE, INDIA
